Asterisk: how to globally disable call waiting

We have 3 different brands/models of sip and iaxy adaptors.  The D-Link DVG-2001S sip adaptor appears to have call waiting enabled, but doesn't have any user config setting to disable it.  This presents a problem with our call center, because calls from the queue are being transferd to users that are "busy".

Can call waiting be disabled either globally or by individual extension within the dial plan?  If so, what is the syntax?

Basically in your sip.conf file for each phone you can set "call-limit=1". You will need to be running asterisk 1.2 for this command. Version 1.0 had the feature but used different commands.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed (I'm running 1.2.12.1).

The wiki has a wealth of info, but difficult to find.  I spent lots of time searching with the obvious keywords "call waiting" and could't find any useful info.
