I searched Google for a few keywords to find what I was looking for (Free utility to play codec G729 audio file), but apparently I'm brain-damaged at the moment.

I am looking for a free utility to be installed on a window platform ?

use either vlc player or klite codec pack (both free ) to play G729 audio files. google to find download mirrors

G729 is a commercial codec and requires a license so I very much doubt you will find any free software that can play them.

Thanks decoleur, yes you are right. I could not use the software , because it asks me about the license key. it is not a trail version.
