Do you want to keep the current POTS line as a hard-wired office telephone line from the current carrier? If you are willing to change to a VoIP vendor, they can port your current number from the carrier you use now and turn it into a VoIP-served line. With the right provider, you can then use it both in the office and remotely access it as you travel. If you need to keep the existing service, you can forward the POTS line to a new VoIP number so that the roaming VoIP line gets all the incoming calls that are directed to the home office line when you are traveling.

You need an analogue telephone adapter (ATA) which has a FXO port. FXO ports are designed to connect to POTS lines while FXS ports are designed to connect to analogue telephones. product_in fo.php?pro ducts_id=1 646
