Bad quality webcam image in Skype

I do not use webcam myslef so far but some of my friends do.
But when they call me the Image that I can see on my screen is very bad ( splitted in two parts and black&white).
In the mean time if I try to make a snapshot from the same interface in the same phone session -
I get perfect result.
