We have a pretty basic setup that allows homeworkers to access our Asterisk pbx from home, using simple SIP logins. All we have so far managed to do to secure our PBX is control which IP addresses/ranges to allow through the firewall. This has becoming increasingly difficult to maintain, given growth and homeworkers' dynamic IP addresses.... The homeworkers use a VPN to connect to the back-office network, but our VoIP security is not good.
Are there any better practices or solutions?
