I am trying to configure my Cisco 2811 with Call Manager Express 4.3 to allow generic SIP phone registeration (as well as the standard Cisco SCCP phones). I have used the following resources to create my configuration http://www.experts-exchang
However the SIP phones sp not register. Once of the phones I am trying to register is a GXP2020 and allthough the phone doesnt register with Call Manager Express it is still able to place calls, however it cannot recieve any calls.
Below is my relevant configuration:
voice register global
mode cme
source-address 192.168.4.1 port 5060
max-dn 12
max-pool 12
!
voice register dn 1
number 1234
name My Phone
!
voice register pool 1
id mac xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
number 1 dn 1
username user1 password mypassword
codec g711ulaw
!
I would really appreciate your help with this one!
Thanks
Mark

Is the phone on the same network? does it get a DHCP address, config load, etc ....?
is there layer 2 and layer 3 connectivity? Is it pingable?
