Hi,
es\Firewal l\pfirewal l.log)
I'm not familiar with the Avayar software, but what you can try and do to see if your firewall is causing the problem is:
- Firstly turn off the Windows Firewall and see if the Avayar software will then work?
- If it does work then it's obviously trying to use a port that the Windows Firewall is blocking.
- Turn windows firewall back on and follow the steps below to detirmine which port is causing the problem...
- Start > Administrative Tools > Windows Firewall with Advanced Security
- Click "Action" menu and select "Properties"
- Select the tab for the profile you are running in (I assume it would be "Domain Profile")
- Click on the "Customize" button for "Logging"
- For "Log Dropped Packets" select "Yes"
- Also take note of the file name and location for the log (default = C:\Windows\system32\LogFil
- Click "OK" on all open windows and close down the Windows Firewall window
- Try and connect your Avayar software
- After it fails go and look in the firewall log and see which ports are being stopped at the firewall.
- Go back into "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" and enable them.
Hopefully this will help get it working.
