how to send voicemails to outlook via exchange 2003 using a cisco UC520
we just got a cisco uc520 we will be setting up for voip in the office, i was interested in setting it up with our exchange server so our voicmails can go to the users inbox. the exhcange server is exchanger 2003 sp2 running on a windows 2003 standard server that is also a backup dc, in the environment we have another windows standard 2003 server that is a dc. it is a small environment

With the UC520, you have an option for setting up user notifications of voice mail. One of the notification choices is an email address. If you enable the feature and set it up on a per-user basis, you can send a .wav file of the voice mail to the designated email address. It doesn't have to be exchange email, it can be any email.
User get's an email with an attached .wav file and can listen to it anywhere.
