Question

SIP VoIP providers.

Asked by: DataDudes

I am looking for a good SIP provider that allows voicemail to email and using my Aastra 9133i IP phone to connect to the service.  The current provider we are using isn't reliable and has uptime problems.  I would also need to be able to transfer my existing number to the new service.  Any suggestions on a good provider?

Thank you

My brother lives in Illinois and uses callcentric. He is very happy with their service and has been using them for well over 2 years. They provide various features including voicemail to email.

One word of advice - the Aastra 9133i is not the best choice as your IP phone because it doesn't have STUN support (at least it didn't last time I looked) so you are likely to have a few problems with NAT traversal.

I use a company called http://www.axvoice.com they allow number porting and price is very low, but I'm not too crazy about it.  I would recommend broadvioce The support BYOD is http://www.broadvoice.com and number porting.
