Hey guys,
I work at a Telecommunication Company, and they just decided to use Cisco Voice Gateway.
and since am the Cisco Guy in the company they give me the task to find the suitable model that meets the requirements, and honestly am more in the R&S Field than VOIP but it well be a good opportunity for me learn more about VoIP,
So I came here today to ask for your help to guide me where to start.
the company requirements is to take Voice traffic from ISDN E1s and convert it to SIP. so the gateway will be connected from one side to 8 E1s and the other side to a Softswitch which will route the International Calls .
I was reading on the net and as Cisco website the past few days and I have reached an understanding that AS5400XM will make the job "please correct me if am wrong or i will need more equipments " and also I did not find documents that speaks about international Voice gateways, all what I found was documents that speaks about Voice Gateways that are connect to Call Manager if you guys can tell me what documents will be useful for me in this case I will be more than Grateful for your help.
