PRI and BRI are main flavours
Primary rate and Basic rate
Basic rate is 2 X 64k B channels and a 16K D channel for signalling
Primary rate T1 is 23 64K B channels +1 for signalling for a total of 1.544MB - available in US
Primary rate E1 is 30 64k B channlels +1 for signalling for a total of 2.048MB available in Europe

This is just a quick Rundown:
ISDN is a digital version of your standard analog version of your home phone line. ISDN is broken up into two types PRI & BRI. BRI has 2x 64kb B channels for use either for voice or data and 1x 16kb D channel for call setup. PRI known as either T1 (North America) has 24x 64bk channels for use either for voice or data or E1 (Europe & Australia) has 31x 64kb channels for voice or data.
