By "wall sockets" I assume you mean jacks? Usually, on the back of them, they have color markers which can sometimes be all one color - such as all blue, or half white and half another color like white/blue. Blue would be the blue with white wire and white/blue would be the white with blue wire - and so on. Some of them you can push in and then there's a cap which pushes the wire into the insulation displacement connector (IDC) and others you would have to have a punch down tool to do it correctly. It depends on the make and model of your jacks. They almost always have a piece of paper with them which shows the pinout diagram.
If they have any letters like A or B - these refer to 568A or 568B pinout - you can use either, as long as you're consistent. A would be the green pair on pins 1 and 2 and B would be the orange.
Your best bet is to check the website of the manufacturer who made the jacks.
