Static IP assigned by my ISP. (Tried plugging it into the Vonage and D-Link boxes separately - same results.)
DHCP assigned by the D-Link Router
Cable is fairly short. Less than 100 feet.
Gigabit Ethernet Ports in my PowerMac G5 and my Gateway FX Series Desktops.
Not sure how to change the LAN ports to 100/full on this device. Doesn't appear to be any setting you can adjust within the Router. The WAN port is set to Auto/10/100/1000.

Besides that, are we talking about internet connection over wireless or wire?
This static address in the LAN or assigned to your WAN by ISP?
DIR-655 has 1Gb ethernet ports. Is it possible to set them to 100/full? How long is your cable? What kind of network adaptor in your hosts in the LAN?
