BICSI Wiring Standards for Simple Cable Management

I was told by my datacenter that our wiring has to comply with BICSI standards.  I want to comply, but all I care about is making my network and power cabling look clean.  Where can I find the standards for this without having to spent $200 or more to buy a 900-page manual from BICSI directly?

From what I gather from these documents, "proper cable management" within a cage/rack amounts to using cable trays.  Is this everything I need to know?  We utilize cable trays all the time, but within the trays we ziptie both power and network cabling to make the space look clean and organized.  Does this violate BICSI standards?
