Browse All TopicsI have a Dell 3424 PowerConnect switch. I just purchased another PowerConnect switch, however this one is a 3524 (Guess this is the newer model). I would like to stack them using the stacking ports provided and manage them from one interface. I am not sure how or if it is possible to stack just two of them. Based on the tutorials I have seen from Dell, it seems that you need at least three.
If it is possible, do I use Fiber or GigE.....
Also, what is the default IP for these switches, I cannot remember if you have to configure that using a serial cable or not...
Thanks!

The IP address will have to be configured via the serial port as there is no default IP setup.
