Hi All
We have a lot of customers with very old & very big houses. We use powerline network adapters all the time for networking as wireless is useless through a few thick walls.
The problem is the customers also like the cordless landline phones which also dont perform well though lots of thick walls, so im wondering if any one in the UK has a powerline product that will carry voice (NOT VoIP) through the mains wiring?
I did find a company (sorry cant remember the name) in the US that made this product however the UK version is on hold for a few years :(
Such a product would also be very helpful for sky installers or any one who wanted a landline phone socket were there was a mains socket.
Also please dont confuse this with "wireless" phone socket adapters as they must use the internal wiring for communication.
Or failing the above can any one recommend a good wireless phone repeater.
Many Thanks
Andrew
