we have a machine that needs an internet connection (RJ-45) and all that's available on site is an analog POTS phone line. DSL is not available. I guess it'd basically have similar functionality to a DSL modem but using an analog dial-up connection.
They used to make DOD Dial-On-Demand routers that would dial into an ISP account where there was data activity on the LAN connection but I'm having problems finding anything like this.
Yes, this could be done with a windows/linux box but that's considerable overkill and we have space limitations.
Suggestions??
