We are having 7 branches all over United Arab Emirates...
we are running sql database in all branches, all branches connect to main office using isdn for backup( Synchronizing) every hour, it takes 5-6 minutes, some times we require to connect for sending query from one branch to other baranches via sql servers 2000 (All communications happen via main server in th head office there we have 4 isdn lines ( all conncetivity is through RRAS, working fine but now we are incresing branches so we are planning to move to MPLS with 64k in all branches)
Our MPLS Provider says to apply for MPLS is very reliable & economical over leased lines.
leased lines are almost more than double the price of MPLs 64K...
My question is our provider wants IP Addresses & routing protocal BGP or OSPF etc...cpild somebody explain what I should write? also which routers we should use? one of my friend says they are connceted to some commodity exchange using Cisco 1841 routers... can I use same type of routers for all branches & main Office..
Our dataload is hardly 1MB per hour... from all branches to main offce sql Server.
