RightFax Receive failure (Phase B).

I'm using a tie through our phone system, which is an Inter-Tel 5400.
This is a new install, and it's never completely worked. I've received a couple test faxes through here, but I was missing the routing information on them. The only thing I remember being different is that I had DTMF routing turned on for each of the channels.
The interface is a T1.

As far as the event log goes, I have the verbosity turned up on RightFax, but I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary - just informational messages.

For the Brooktrout config, the board is set to use Robbed Bit.
The phone switch is set to E&M for the channels, and to forward the original DID digits.
Inter-Tel verified that ESF and Bipolar 8 are correct for the line type and line coding options. I've set those options in the Brooktrout config utility.

The code I'm getting when using FaxUtil is (0/339;4/27) which the documentation says has something to do with the training process.

I was using a cable that looks like it was cut by someone from the phone company. I don't remember seeing any shielding when I unplugged it and examined it, so it was probably just a standard CAT 5 cable.
I'll check my office tomorrow and see if I did actually receive a cable with the TR1034. If not, I'll get one ordered.
The problem manifests itself either sending or receiving.

I'm glad to see a common thread for my problems - I spent a couple hours on the phone with Captaris today and we came up with a similar diagnosis. Thanks sancj.

I spoke with our telco rep, and the problem turned out to be a timing issue between the card and the phone system. They were both set for master. Now that I've adjusted the clock on the Brooktrout to slave everything works.

This helped to point me in the right direction, didn't actually reference any timing issues.

Phone system master and  tr1034 slave, I assume.

I know this has been a while back but could help me on this same issue.  Your scenario is exactly the same as mine down to the same phone system.  What were your H.100 Settings when you changed it to slave?  

Here are the exact settings I'm using.
