Hi,
I'm experiencing an issue with getting an IP based video conferencing unit to work behind a Juniper firewall.
When we attempt a call - the unit does connect however the only audio/visual we can see is ourselves - the 2nd window won;t open so we can see our remote counterparts in other states/countries.
We do have another router onsite, a Cisco 1800 series which is managed by our service provider and I have confirmed with their support that it is not blocking anything and has no access lists at the moment.
I have opened the appropriate ports on the Juniper to allow video conferencing to take place and also disabled deep inspection on the H323 standard on the Juniper - as advised in the video conference equipment manual. All port forward from public IP to internal IP of conferencing unit have also been set up correctly.
We have also tried another conferencing unit to remove the hardware as being at fault and it too does the same thing - connects - but not both ways.
I've also set up a custom service on the Juniper to open all ports and tested - still the same thing.
I've also temporarily removed the Cisco from the equation and tested again - same results - which leads me to think there's something I've perhaps missed on the Juniper.
Can anyone offer any insight or experienced a similar issue? Any help would be great.
Thanks
