Call Pilot Message Notification

Hello everyone,

I am trying to set up external notifications of VMs for an extension.  I am accessing call pilot through the desk set by feat 9 8 1.  I am able to navigate to the msg notification options, but when I hit the button for "admin", I receive a "not init" message and the prompt changes to "ext:".  After hitting admin I should be able to choose whether the destination is a phone, pager, etc.  This is my first time setting this feature for any phone, I searched the internet for help on setting up the feature, but I can not find any help regarding the message I am receiving.  Please help.  Thanks!

I found wha I needed, I needed to assign an outdial type in call pilot manager in order to access the settings to program it to dial out.  But another issue has come up, when I look through my pool types, Pool Pri A, Pool A....all letters, call pilot manager will only allow me to enter numbers.  I tried the obvious A orPri A = 1, that didn't work.  Any suggestions? i couldn't find a reference to the naming convention in either of those documents.
