Either:
create a .netrc file in your home directory containing:
machine <NT machine Name> login <NT username> password <NT password>
then write a script
#!/bin/sh
# find a file created today
FILE=`find /path/to/file_directory -mtime -1`
ftp -v NTserver1 <<! 2>&1 >> $LOGFILE
binary
put $FILE
bye
!
This would send any file in directory /path/to/file_directory that was created today to server NTserver1, using the name and password in your .netrc file
OR
As ftp is unsecured, install ssh on Unix and NT machines and use secure key exchange with sftp instead and it is secure
