How can I disable the NIC in solaris 10

I have a server with unix solaris 10, with multipathing is configured, and I want to test it, however it is in different location, so I want to disable a single network interface, while sniffing the network traffic on the other one tyo make sure of the switch over, can please anyone guide how can I do so?
