OK,
for AIX you have the standard tools -
vmstat - reports statistics about kernel threads, virtual memory, disks, traps and CPU activity.
netstat - displays the contents of various network-related data structures for active connections.
iostat - is used for monitoring system input/output device loading
Next, there is
topas - reports selected local and remote system statistics.
Another tool, which you have to install first if your system is earlier than AIX 5300-09, is
nmon - this free tool gives you a huge amount of important performance information in one go
Get nmon from here, if needed
http://www.ibm.com/develop erworks/wi kis/displa y/WikiPtyp e/nmon
Use 'man vmstat', 'man netstat', 'man iostat' , 'man topas' and 'nmon -h' to learn how to use these tools.
Should you have further questions, please let me know.
