to sum things up:
* cloud computing is when when you use computing resources as if they were utility services like gas and electricity.
* grid computing is when you gather a lot of discrete computing resources and put them all to work on a single computing task.
having said that, vendors often confuse things up so you have to check the details...
there is a lot of cloud computing going on, not that much grid computing :)
