Users and "Documents and Settings" - Win 2000 Server

I am a programmer that has a 2 person office and have upgraded/replaced my NT Small Business Server to Win 2000 Server.  My problem is that I don’t understand how the users are associated with the folders under Documents and Settings.

Here are my questions, each one is worth 50 points – answer all four and I’ll increase the points to 200.

     1) When I log in as LarryG (This is actually Larry Gordon) I am using the desktop folder in LarryG.BCDOMAIN.    Why?  I would think I would be using the desktop in the LarryG folder. When I log in as Administrator  I am using the desktop folder in Administrator.Larry01, I would thing I would be using the Administrator folder. I am looking for the place where Windows tells me where my folders are located or how to change or control my folder location.
     2) I want to know if I can get rid of some of the folders under “Documents and Settings” without messing up things.  If so how do I do it?
     3) I want to know if I can get rid of some of the duplicate users in Active Directory.  If so how do I do it?
     4) Why do I have users IUSR_Larry01 and IWAM_Larry01 and can I get rid of them.

On my Drive I have the following folders under Documents and Settings.
Documents and Settings
     Administrator
     Administrator.Larry01
     All Users
     All Users.WINNT
     LarryG
     LarryG.BCDOMAIN

In my Active Directory Users and Computers under Users I have the following users.
Administrator
Guest  (This is X out)
IUSR_Larry01
     Iwam_Larry01
     Krbtgt  (This is X out)
Larry Gordon   (Logs on as LarryG)
Larry Gordon2 (Logs on as Larry Gordon)
     Tim Peters

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for your great answer.  You answer is almost there, I could just get a little more information.

1) I am looking for the place where Windows tells me where my folders are located for each user (what folders are associated with each user) and how to change or control my folder location.

2) Currently, I am logging on in 2 different ways, one as Larry G which uses the folder LarryG.BCDOMAIN,   and   as Administrator which is using the folder Administrator.Larry01.  Are you saying I can get rid of the following folders from my “Documents and Settings” folder?
    Administrator
    All Users
    LarryG

3)  When I right click on my computer, select properties.  Go to the user profiles tab it shows 4 profiles
Account Unknown
Account Unknown
     BCDomain\Administrator
     BCDomain\Larryg
Does this mean, that Windows only knows about Administrator and Larryg

Robert, thanks for the help, I think we are almost there.

You can control where the profiles and documents are saved with a utility called tweakUI from MS.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsme/guide/tweakui.exe
This works fine on Win2k PRO.
IT allows you to fine tune where you put the folders, and shows all the present default locations.

If you upgraded from NT to win2k, then that could be the source of the ambiguities, since the locations have changed.

I hope this helps !
