Sir
I have windows 2000 server.I want to configure DNS.For example i want to resole www.eccpon.com,ftp.eccpon.com and mail.eccpon.com with different ip address for each whtat i have to do .I have confused with dns.
Please explain me.
Actually i have created one zone with name eccpon.com and added host with name WWW and ipaddress for that.similarly I done for ftp and mail with corrosponding ip address.
what is a subdomain.Actually i read some articles about dns.It says that root domain then second level domain.
What is that?
Please give me clear idea.
