  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. The network location cannot be reached. OR Network path not found. when connecting to a domain

Ok, I can get internet, but when i try to connect to a domain in windows 2k, it gives me an error message. When I go to network identification, i click properties then in domain enter my domain name, then enter a user name and password and it says

"The following error occurred attempting to join domain <DomainName.DomainSuffix>:
The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help. OR
Network path not found."

I made sure that i was logged on as administrator and triple checked to make sure that i have TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service on automatic and is started. I don't know why it isn't working. PLease help me out anyone.
