Getting error "Specified network resource no longer available"

I have a two Win95 systems hooked up through
a peer-to-peer network using Microdyne's NE2500.
I have the network up and running in that I can
see the other computer, and am even able to
browse the directories without a problem. However,
when I transfer a file over one computer to the
next, I get the error "Specified network resource or
device no longer available". This happens on both
computers. I've tested various cables and network cards
that are known to work but I still can get rid of this
problem. I don't know if this may have something to
do with buffering, but I don't know where I can change
that. Any suggestions? Thanks.
