Browse All Topics1) How can I get the IP address of a network printer residing in our workgroup? I am trying to map this printer from a Linux machine and need the actual tcp ip address.
It's WIN address is \\JMISS200\advlexn. (Is there a NT of Win95 command line util that will do this?)
2) Also, how can I map a network drive on a machine in another workgroup.
ex.
I am in MUJOUR00 as FALCON, the machine I need to connect to
is in FINAID as WENDELL and the share is TEMP
It will not find \\wendell\temp
Can I map a drive letter to a network drive in another workgroup? (I believe I have done this on my NT machine before but cannot remember how I did it)
