Dell's website doesnt have this driver and I have tried my best to get this laptop to work so I could use internet. I have Dlink airplus wireless adaptor in this laptop which says 'no Wireless'. Does anyone know if this needs network driver or is it something else and where I can find the needed driver?

Dear Experts, Sorry it took me a while to respond.
bigricky: I went to Dell website and entered model number but it doesnt give me a choice for win XP which is what I have on my PC. After I selected Network driver for Win2000 (I dont know if its the right choice) but then it gave me choices for '3Com', Aironet and IBM drivers and dont know which one I should choose (again i dont know if should be on this page!).
This is what it says on the back of my Dell laptop; Model No: PPL, Latitude CPi-A Series,
IC Class: B ICES-3
Please help!!
kavlins:: I went to the link you sent and signed up but didnt find the driver I am looking for;
Jerrod_W: I did not find the driver from the whole Dell website, the link you sent.
mfigliolia: I downloaded the software on my desktop and then ran on the laptop and showed the following info;
Texas Instrument: PCR-1225 card bus controller
then I did a search the web on for this driver and get a lot of links but none of those has a driver download link. Could it be possible for you to send me the link for this driver if you come across one?

I would recommend downloading this application on another PC: d.php?det= 3908
www.majorgeeks.com/downloa
Once downloaded, run the application on the PC you need drivers for. It should identify the chipset on the actually device missing the driver, in which you can google and download it that way. Please post your results after you run the application if you are having some issues and I can continue to help you.
Regards,
mfigliolia
