Zip file wont open up in Share Point Site. broken link symbol

Hi Experts

One of my user's, on a sharepoint site can get to zip files via download copy menu item, when left clicks on arrow of the file, but opens up a blank page when single clicks -Broken link symbol in top left, like a triangle broken in two, an image place holder I think they call it.

Is seems to be specific to his Laptop, as on his PC, he is ok for both methods.

I have spoken to the Sharepoint admins, and they say "his permissions are fine, look at Browser and Winzip settings". I have looked at these, but appear to be the same.
