unable to view "network connections" in control panel, nor is there any sign of a network connection visible in the taskbar. can not connect to the internet. amber light on motherboard nic. installed pci nic and internet works in safe mode with networking, but same symptoms when logging into windows normally. system appears to be clean of any suspicious or harmful files. have used hijackthis to clean system. tried logging into another local account, same problems. ran a couple chkdsks. has anyone ever come across such a problem and fixed it without reloading windows. reloading windows is not an option.Start Free Trial
