Server Can't coneect to anything even though it has a Static IP Address

One of my servers does not connect to none of my network resources. It is able to obtain a DHCP address but when you try to ping anything even the router it says destination unreachable. I have even given it a static IP address and it does not work. I have rebooted the machine. Other server that are connected to the same switch don't seem to have this problem. I have tried different cables and even change the port on the switch but nothing seems to work I checked everything on the properties for the nic and everything seems to be fine. Don't know what the problem could be. If anyone can help me out please do. Thanks
