Streaming audio from online radio.

I have run into the following problem and have run out of ideas on how to correct it.  When I try to listen to online radio I get a dialog box that pops up and has the following in it. "We're sorry but the media appears to be unavailabe. Would you like to try and re-connect."  

This happens on multiple sites so its not associated with just one website.  I have downloaded Real Player, Win Amp. Same problem.  Even tried different browsers.

My set up current is Windows Vista Home Premium using IE8.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
