Cannot Ping public ip address

Hi
I have network setup in the following manner. we have a leased line that has a public ip address this leased line is conneted to a link sys route we can access the internet in our offfice we can access the routers user interface, if we enter the public ip address in Internet explorer we can access the router user interface and we can ping the public ip address from inside the office but we cannot ping the public ip address from outside our office and  if we enter the public ip address in The internet explorer we cannot access the routers Internet explorer. i need help on this issue
