Is is only on files?
- Try running a filesystem check.
- Maybe try a different mouse (in the hopes that it uses different drivers)
- Try installing/updating mouse drivers
- Instead of a right click, does pressing the context menu button (to the left of the right ctrl key) also make your computer crash?

Delete the 3rd party entries till it starts working ;)
