Thanks. Shortcut doesnt help in my situation because I want to make this linked folder a share one and make it available to every one else in the network. I already tried shortcut but it doesnt let me enable sharing.

A Directory symbolic link should be what you want. Map the drive, then use
junction.exe c:\MyFolder x:\path\anotherone\TargetD
(assuming that the share is mapped to 'x:'). See http://www.microsoft.com/t
Ah. I think you'll have to share it from the server. I'm pretty sure you can't link to a folder on another pc (or server), then share that linked folder. In all of my mapped network shares, not a single one has the "Sharing and Security" option when I right click. I can bring up Security, but no sharing options. I don't think you can do this.
However, I will gladly be corrected by any other Expert who may know better.

I'm not sure if I understand what you're looking for. If it's a mapped drive, then just create a shortcut. If it's a folder within the mapped drive, map another drive to it, then create a shortcut. You can rename the shortcut anything you want, it will still be pointing to the folder on the mapped drive.
