   How to Configure the network from mobile to laptop to use the Internet.

1) Does your phone have WiFi?

If you want to connect the mobile to allow your laptop to access the internet, you need to have a data connection on the mobile package and internet settings need to be configured as well as tested prior to connecting to the laptop.

For the above, please contact your mobile network operator.


Once done, you need the phone to establish a connection with the laptop. This can be done with a cable, bluetooth or wi-fi depending on the phone. Also an application will be needed to enable the laptop to connect to the network through the phone. For Noki, its the Nokia Software Suite that enable you to do this.

I am Using Sony Erricson Mobile. I have tried using both bluetooth and usb. Some times it will and the other times it wont work. Net is also very slow. If i open any site it takes nealy 1 min.

Stick to USB.

Not certain which SE model you use but here are the routine things to check:
1. Contact mobile operator and check on signal strength and WP/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS connection settings etc
2. See whether you are using the correct or latest SE software
3. See if you have a firewall or on access virus scan enabled on pc

See if re-installing your SE software on the pc helps.
