Windows 2k3 R2 server not showing up in network.  Only it IP address.

I was reconfiguring a file server for VPN access, then decided to configure VPN from the firewall.  After i removed the VPN role from the server I am unable to access or see the server on the network.  I am only able to RD to the server from the IP address.  The server housed AV and desktop authority so i am experience issues with those applications.
