Our HR Manager is printing confidential stuff to a network printer not even close to where she would pick them up.
The printer is an HP LaserJet 4 Plus with a JetDirect network card. So on her computer it is mapped as a TCP/IP port. Is the a way to remove this remotely?

There is really no way around it other then logging on as admin and removing the printer. If her account is local on the machine... Boot into safe made. Press f8 on boot up until you get the option to boot into safe mode. You can remove her password and log into her account and remove the printer. I think she will realize anyways regardless the printer is gone when its not printing anymore. Maybe you should call HR on your HR manager.
Remote Desktop will definitely not work. Like I said before it logs the user off while I am logged in. And after I logout the computer is set on the login screen, with the admin user in the username box. Also not to mention that the network printers are only viewable as the current user.
Scripts might work, but it would take too much time to write/test on another machine.
We have a domain, so no true local accounts, its all Active Directory.
The funny thing about this is she has a printer in her office, which should be her default printer.

You can write a simple batch file using printui.dll to remove the network printer and place it in her login script or startup folder.
Well, since there wasn't a way to do this remotely I went out to the printer and turned off its network sharing.
I found out later that it was not the HR Manager doing the printing, it was the president/owner! No idea how he added the printer, and told him many times that he should have notified the IT Dept if he printed confidential documents to a printer he could not locate.

I believe that if you remote into the computer using the /admin (click start go to run, then type MSTSC /ADMIN then click okay) and it acts just like you were at the machine (this is of course for windows xp or later) and then you could remove the printer from her machine or remove the port that it prints to. Hope this helps out.
