I've tried going to network connections -> advanced -> advanced settings and putting the adapter i want to use at the top of the list but every game i try to play whether it be age of mythology or watever always appears to use the wrong ip address, which means i have to disable my other adapter so that it has no choice but to use the right ip address. do u think theres some registry value or something that needs changing? aight cheers

The computer is going to use the metric of each connection to determine which connection to use first. You can view a list of the metrics by going to a command prompt and typing "route print" without the quotation marks. By default, windows automatically determines the metrics, based on connection speed. The lower the setting the faster the connection. You are able to manually change this setting by going the TCP/IP Setting page for the network adapter -> Advanced and unclicking the "Automatic metric" option and inserting the desired metric. I would sugest changing this to a few numbers lower than your other connection.
