I have several PCs that are connected through switch, all of them have Windows XP installed, and only one of them has Windows Mellinium.
When I want to give permissions to a certain shared folder on Windows XP (after disabling simple file sharing), I just get in a total loss, never was I able to provide any rights to any of the other network users. Why is it so complicated to run?
So in order to do that, I just place the folders to be shared on the Windows Me PC, and give it a normal simple password for reading and for full access.
Now I am replacing the Windows Me PC with another Windows XP one, so I need to define for each network users the rights for shared folders. How can I do it correctly?
