Weird Networking problem

Asked by woohah in Windows Networking

Let me give you a background to what our network looks like. I am in our Mobile office right now in a pure Windows enviroment. We are connected to the rest of the company via VPN. I can see everyone in the company except my mail server in Birmingham. I was here for 1 hour and was getting mail perfectly fine until all of the sudden I was syncing with the mail server anymore. Its like the mail server dissappeared off the network. I called the Birmingham office and they said the mail server was fine. I called all other locations, they are fine. We all connect to the same email server. Now, this is where it gets interesting. I can ping and remote into EVERY machine in Birmingham except the mail server. My mail servers name is mail and the ip address is 192.168.45.201. This is stumping me. I have looked at the firewall, DNS on all servers and everything is good. Like I said before, this was working for 1 hour when I got to this office, and now it isnt. NO CLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!Start Free Trial
