Connect to two networks simultaneously

Asked by wwfarch in Windows Networking, Linux Networking, Network Cards & Adapters

Tags: connect, networks, two, simultaneously

At work we have two seperate networks. One of these networks is used to connect to the internet and the other is used internally for file storage and cvs repositories. I connect to the internet one using my wireless and the internal network through a wired ethernet connection. However, at any given time I can only be connected to one of the networks. Is there a way to connect to both networks simultaneously? A solution for Linux is my primary concern and Windows XP would be nice but is secondary. I am using OpenSuSE 10.2 and Windows XP SP2.Start Free Trial
