Win ME is unable to get information from DNS

Operating System : WIndow ME
Status : Re-install ME in P3 laptop.
Problem : IE is unable to get information from DNS, but DNS is defined (2 DNS from ISP thru my router.  This Laptop can access to PC and Servers in LAN, but it has no response in IE.  
Test1 : I use nslookup tool  from 3rd party to talk DNS, but there is no response.
Test2 : I use IP of yahoo.com in IE (209.131.36.158) directly, the downloading is very slow and the result is complete
I use ipconfig in DOS and winipcfg to check the DNS information, and it is alright.

So, what's problem, and how to fix it?  Thank you.

Can you try with www.mozilla.com/firefox/
just to see if this is a browser problem.

No.  The server not found is caused by reverting hostname to IP.
I use netscape and firefox as a control test, and the results are the same.
I am unable to use "www.yahoo.com"  to get IP, and the result is "server not found"

I use 209.131.36.158 to access yahoo directly, and the page appears.

So,  my conclusion is that something make Internet Browers or other progams
connecting to internet fail to get information from DNS.
Even I change network card, the result is the same.  
Is Window ME missing something or wrong configuration ??

Oooh!  The cause is made by window installer.
So many drivers in network properties.
Only Delete all unused NC drivers, and reboot.
:D
