Kindly suggest me best & easy solution for proxy server in windows xp. my gateway is 172.16.3.50 and DNS is 10.16.6.11 & 10.16.7.12 how i can configure it easily.

If your computer has 2 ethernet ports you can use it as a bridge with XP's built-in connection sharing. Or, same if you're using dialup: PPP<->computer<->ethernet<
Otherwise the money spent on a router is far cheaper than the time spent configuring a proxy server.
Unless you just want the experience, in which case you'll figure out that 2nd statement for yourself, eventually. :-)
well to suggest the best solution, i need to know what you are trying to accomplish exactly.
If your in a large server environment where you need to provide proxy access to ALOT of computers, the you will need to setup an actual proxy server. this is available within the microsoft servers OS.
If you need a proxy to access webpages anonymously, then you would find a free proxy listing on the internet and put those into your browser options.
