What is difference between 32 bit and 64 bit

can u explain me what is difference between 32 bit and 64 bit.
Can i install 32 bit application on 64 bit

32 & 64 bit are hardware differences. Much like you Internet connection can have bandwidth limitations (amount of data that can be transfered in a given time) between your PC and the Internet, 64 bit allows for more data transfer between the motherboard and attached components like the processor. Most existing machines are 32 bit, with most new ones being 64 bit. Operating systems are changing as well. DOS was 16 bit, XP can be purchased as 32 or 64, and some new server versions are only 64 bit. You can run 'most' 32 bit applications on a 64 bit machine/operating system.
