Mapped Drive not saving password

Asked by JRockFL in Windows Networking

I have a windows 2008 server and windows vista client.
The server has a shared directory. I have created a mapped drive for this share on the client.
It maps fine and I can access the files.
When I log off and log back on, I get a message in the task bar that says can not connect to mapped drives.
When I try to open the mapped drive, I get incorrect password or unknown username.

The username I am using is SERVER\Administrator and the the administrator password.

This is not a domain, workgroup.
