All static ip addresses outside current network say they are in use.

Tags: The static IP address that was just configured is already in use and on the network. Please reconfigure a different IP address.

No matter what IP address I try to assign outside my current network I  get "The static IP address that was just configured is already in use and on the network. Please reconfigure a different IP address."

Just so you know i inherited this network. :)

Current Network. 10.1.2.0/24

If i try to set up a static address on a computer such as 192.168.2.x - error
192.168.x.x - error, 172.45.53.x - error

no matte what i put in i get an ip conflict. not sure how it is possible but is it a serious problem. I have a piece of manufacturing equipment that is default 192.168.2.12, it can only be changed by special software by manufacture that needs to remote in. But since any machine outside our 10.1.2.0 network reports ip conflict, i can't allow them to remote in to it. Start Free Trial
